12th September 2004 Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: 1' waves Air Temperature: 20 Sea Temperature: 19 Weather: Clear, then clouded over Max Speed: Distance Covered: Rigged the 6.3, wrong move I was overpowered from the start. So I swapped for the 5.4. Much better. I used my wave board today. It was very rusty, & was on it. I find the f2 wave ridiculously loose with a 22 fin. I'd better get a bigger one. The Axxis felt great. Loads of gybes up to lunchtime. Then it got reallly gusty, so I had a quick cuppa. Back out again I on the wave board, too much trouble, so I swapped back to the axxis, and the wind went really good for an hour and filled out completely. FANTASTIC stuff. Denise looked after the kids for me, I owe her one - especially as I didn't get back home until 5 thirty.... oooops. She'd done dinner too! |
